The Player
A 6-foot-4, 193-pound power forward who plays a true 200-foot game. Burke lives in the corners, wins puck battles, and drives play with a relentless motor - and he skates like a player half his size, which is rare for the frame.
As a freshman at Portsmouth Abbey he was promoted from the third line to the first line at midseason and held the spot the rest of the year, finishing with the second-best plus-minus on the team. The next step in his development is finishing - the projectable upside on a player who already does the hard, winning things well. He flashed exactly that at his first NAHL main camp, with three assists in three games against older juniors. And at the Chowder Cup in Boston he scored five goals in three games to lead his bracket in scoring - the finish starting to catch up to the tools.
Elite Prospects, where his profile is EP Verified, scouts his game as Heavy Hitter, Power Forward, and Powerful Skater.
